bottleproductPREMIUM GERA VODKA: INTRODUCING INNOVATION IN VODKA MANUFACTURING

THE ONENESS
•Tradition developed from introduction of distillation to Lithuania 1511 to make vodka;
•Extraordinary, because the unique modern technology OCTAL is applied to its production;
•Only “Neutral” grain alcohol is used in the process;
•Art Deco bottle repeats the trademark;
•The aerator caps prevents falsification;
•The result is particularly clear and delicate.

THE VODKA
At first sight, vodka production is an easy and simple process. The formula of production seems to be unsophisticated – the mixing of water with alcohol.

However, by exerting every effort, exercising abundant professional skills and invoking of traditions is required in order to make it REALLY GOOD.

The philosophy of producing the trademark vodka by the Joint Stock Company, ALITA:
• An effective combination of manufacturing traditions and innovations
• Assurance of top quality
• Produce vodka carefully and in a precisely controlled process

After nine years of manufacturing, the specialists of the firm gained considerable expertise. During this time, tests were carried out seeking to increase the efficiency of the vodka processing and to develop vodka of exclusive clearness and delicacy. During the last three years, the experiments were looking into the effects of deep cooling on the quality of vodka and the assimilation of the components.

After long lasting experiments, a new technology of vodka production was developed. The specialists named the eight step patent process OCTAL.

GERA Premium vodka is produced using the new OCTAL technology.

The process begins with a thorough selection of cereal ethyl alcohol. Before it’s poured into the tanks for manufacturing, the alcohol undergoes tasting by experienced professionals to assess the organoleptic properties of the alcohol and ends with the assessing properties of the alcohol using a modern device – a gas chromatograph. Such a control system ensures the selection of the top quality ethyl alcohol and the stability of indicators of each batch of vodka.

The second phase is water preparation. Only properly prepared water will provide the desired properties of vodka and ensure its oneness. Even negligible impurities retained in the water may pollute the vodka and cause a irreversible damage to the manufacturing process and the quality of the product. In order to avoid such complications, all phases of the production must be executed in a consecutive order.

In the opinion of the majority of professionals, demineralization of the water ensures the best water for the preparation of vodka. The chemical and physical indicators of the water are thoroughly checked at a modern laboratory before it is used in the production process.

The third phase of production is the mixing of vodka, its blending. Having the top quality alcohol and specially prepared water does not yet ensure the oneness of the product. Processing the vodka after mixing is important as well. In this phase, the tradition of vodka production and modern technologies merge into one process. The modern method of filtering ensures crystal clearness and particular delicacy of vodka after it is flowed three times through carbon filters. All quality indicators are constantly monitored thus ensuring their stability. Activated carbon makes the scent and taste more delicate and clear, because it absorbs the smallest undesirable components.

So the clearness and pureness of the product is assured by carefully selecting raw material (i.e. grain alcohol), processing water to crystal clearness and repeated filtering. After the introduction of the new vodka in 2000, the company specialists worked on improving efficiency of the vodka processing and how to develop a vodka of exclusive clearness and delicacy. Within the last three years experiments were bound with the impact of deep cooling upon the quality of vodka and the assimilation of the components.

After long lasting experiments, the new technology of vodka production was developed. The specialist named it “OCTAL” to signify the eight stages of vodka processing.

Revitalizing centuries old traditional vodka making process with new OCTAL technology yields GERA PREMIUM VODKA named “GERA” or “GOOD” in Lithuanian. ALITA exerts every effort to ensure an irreproachable clearness and delicacy of the vodka.

The basis of this technology is a saturation of the specially prepared water with oxygen, using NEUTRAL ethyl alcohol in producing and filtering of the cold processed vodka at below zero temperatures. The vodka is filtered three times.

The modern filtering process ensures a permanent control of the quality indicators, thus ensuring their stability. The eight step vodka producing process results in a particularly delicate and clear, as a dew drop, taste of vodka.
